ClearShield’s Fire Attenuation Screens are an economical alternative to conventional drenching (sprinkler) systems, and they also offer a high level of security.

ClearShield Australia contracted the services of Warrington Fire Research Australia to test the ClearShield’s Fire Attenuation Screen and when tested, achieved a reduction of radiant heat of 52.3kW/m2 when exposed to Boundary* conditions (80kW/m2). That’s a massive 65% Attenuation of heat in the worst possible conditions (as indicated in the NCC)

* Clause B7.4.4 in AS1530.4(2014) specifies that if the opening to be protected is on the boundary of a property then the testing should be conducted at 80kW/m2
